If it’s been more than 6 months since your last visit, we’ll need to reassess before restarting your care.
Why? Because your body changes — and so should your treatment.

During your reactivation appointment, we’ll:

- Review your health history and any changes since your last visit
- Recheck your posture, structure, and current symptoms
- See how your body has adapted (or compensated) over time
- Update your care plan based on where you are now, not where you were then

This ensures you get the most accurate, effective care — right from your first adjustment back.

Your £120 payment covers our full 2-part New Patient Consultation, including your first treatment.
This process is designed to give you the time, attention, and accuracy your body deserves

Full health history review

Full-body structural & neurological testing

Digital posture screening

Personalised report of findings on a separate day

Your first ABC-specific adjustment

*Done over two appointments for clarity, precision, and the best start to your care.

Each appointment lasts 45 minutes.
You’ll book Part One online. We’ll contact you to schedule Part Two, or alternatively, you can arrange it at your first visit.

Terms & Conditions

Appointment Cancellation Policy
When you book an appointment, we reserve that time specifically for you — which means it’s no longer available to other patients. To respect both our team and those on our waiting list, we kindly ask that you let us know as soon as possible if you can’t make it.

- Cancelling Your Appointment
Plans change — we get it. If you need to cancel, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice so we can offer your slot to someone else.

To cancel, just call us on 01865 704984 or email info@thebackstory.uk and we’ll take care of it.

- Late Cancellations & No-Shows
A late cancellation means cancelling less than 24 hours before your appointment.

A no-show means missing your appointment without letting us know, or cancelling after it’s started.

In either case, the full appointment fee will be charged. If this happens more than once, future appointments may need to be prepaid.

- Fairness & Flexibility
This policy is in place to be fair to all of our patients.
That said, we know life happens. If something unexpected comes up, we’ll always look at the situation with understanding and fairness — just talk to us.
