Appointment Cancellation
When you book an appointment, our clinic has reserved a space in our appointment calendar for you. This means it is not available to other patients. To be respectful to both your practitioner and other patients, please let us know as soon as you are aware that you will not be able to make your appointment.
If you do need to cancel your appointment for any reason, that is OK, however, we ask that you cancel your appointment within 24 hours. This gives other patients the ability to access that particular appointment slot.

How to Cancel Your Appointment
Cancelling your appointment is easy. Please give our team a call on 01865 704984 or email us at info@thebackstory.uk and we will cancel your appointment immediately.

Late Cancellations and no-shows
A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without cancelling or cancels after the appointment start time. In either case, we will charge the missed appointment fee in full. In the event of multiple no-shows, appointment fees will need to be settled prior to another appointment is scheduled.

In order to be fair to all of our patients, this policy is universal. However, we understand that sometimes circumstances happen outside of our control. In these cases, a cancellation fee may not be applied. This is considered on a case-by-case basis. We trust that you value our time as much as we value yours.
